Privacy Policy — Future of Voices

Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Who we are

Future of Voices ("the Platform") is a Wonder World Group project, operated by BrainyAds LLC, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA ("we", "us"), acting as the data controller for the personal data processed through this Platform. Contact for privacy matters: privacy@futureofvoices.org

2. What data we collect

When you submit your participation through the "Be a Voice" form, we collect: your full name, email address, category, social media handle, biography, photograph, video message and/or written message, your newsletter preference, and the date and time of your consent to our Image Rights & Terms. We also collect standard technical data described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis

4. What is published and what is not

If your voice is approved, we publish: your name, category, social handle, photograph, and your video or written message. Your email address is never published and is never accessible through the public website.

5. Who has access to your data

Your data is stored in the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt region). We use the following processors: Supabase (database and media storage, EU), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (transactional email), Google LLC (internal record-keeping), Brevo (newsletter delivery — only if you opt in), and Make (workflow automation). We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not transfer it to any third party beyond the processors listed here. Where processors operate outside the EU, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

6. How long we keep your data

Published voices remain online while the project is active or until you request removal. Submissions that are not approved are deleted within 12 months. Consent records are kept for as long as legally required.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may at any time request: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten" — including removal of your published voice), restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent (without affecting prior processing). Write to the contact address in Section 1; we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

8. Minors

The Platform is intended for participants aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version and date always appear at the top of this page. Material changes affecting published voices will be notified by email.
